Terms & Conditions

These terms apply whenever you buy from Ayubaba Technologies Ltd, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17263831), with our registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. By placing an order, you're agreeing to them — so it's worth a quick read.

We've tried to keep the legal language to a minimum. If anything is unclear, contact us at hello@ayubaba.co.uk and we'll happily explain.

Ayubaba is an engineering-verified electronics marketplace. Every product we list has been assessed by a qualified engineer, and its results are published in a Verification Record with a unique EVS ID.

Verified Refurbished products are pre-owned items sold on the basis of their published assessment. Verified Sustainable products are new items that have been independently assessed for environmental credentials.

When you place an order, we'll send you a confirmation email. Your order is accepted when we dispatch the item. All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.

Payment is taken securely at checkout through our payment provider. If we can't fulfil your order for any reason — for example, if an item is no longer available — we'll let you know and refund you in full.

Standard delivery typically takes 2 to 5 working days. Estimated delivery times are shown on each product page. Once your order is dispatched, the risk in the goods passes to you when they're delivered to your address.

If an item doesn't match its Verification Record or arrives faulty, you can request a return within 30 days of delivery. Full details are on our Returns Policy page. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Verified Refurbished products come with a 6 month warranty covering faults identified through our EVS process. Verified Sustainable products carry the manufacturer's standard warranty. The warranty doesn't cover accidental damage, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

You're responsible for keeping your account details and password secure. Let us know straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account, and we'll help you secure it.

We're responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence. We're not liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses — our marketplace is intended for consumers. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

We may update these terms from time to time — the version published on this page at the time of your order is the one that applies to it. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
